Agility Training…

…it’s not just for dogs!

When it’s cold and wet, you’re less likely to do a workout that involves going outside for sprints!

Yet you still want to keep up with your routine and you feel that urge to connect with your body.

We all have days like this and there is a compromise…indoor agility training. It’s fun and rewarding.

The exercise routine on the video below involves balance.  A key but often neglected part of a complete fitness programme.   As well as great core toning, it brings about one of the most important aspects of living in a healthy body…

It takes patience to master these exercises because balance is not an area that you pay enough attention to.  However with practice you will improve and then be able to try the more advanced options.  It is also test for your confidence…again something that will improve as you train.

This exercise routine does require one piece of equipment.  A gym ball, sometimes called a swiss ball or simply an exercise ball.  You can buy them easily online, and from many shops.  You might even have one in the shed!  Make sure it’s an ‘anti-burst’ version.

I will be doing future videos using the gym ball so please purchase one soon. They are also great as a chair for office work!
