DOJIVA PILATES

A movement class that will leave you toned, supple, relaxed and energised. Dojiva Pilates is Danny and Kimba Bridgeman’s unique approach to Pilates. They focus on flowing movements that build strength from the inside. This combination leads to a mind body experience that enhances presence, posture and coordination and that can easily translate into daily activities.

Depending on the group, classes can be gently restorative or very dynamic. By working with small groups we welcome all ages and abilities so everybody is welcome. Even if you have an old injury or current condition you are welcome to attend and Danny will modify the exercises as necessary. However, you may want to contact Danny to see if an initial private session is advised.

 

KUNDALINI YOGA

Whatever your goals may be in life, the regular practice of Kundalini yoga helps you clear the blocks so that you can attain what you want. The benefits are numerous from improved breath capacity, a clearer mind, a stronger body, healthier organs, and a deeper sense of peace and awareness. Classes include exercises, mantras, meditation, breathing, philosophy and relaxation.

Mats, cushions and blankets are provided, however you might like to bring some water.

 

MEN’S FITNESS & FLEXIBILITY

I have never quite understood why 80% of yoga/pilates classes are female and 80% of martial arts classes are male! This should balance out…we all need a mix of ying and yang, soft and strong, subtle and dynamic. To encourage more men into the subtle, Pilates based classes, I am now offering a mens only class. This way, you won’t be the only token man in the group.

A primary goal of this class is to increase your flexibility, however we also enjoy the opposing qualities of strength training and relaxation! This a potent mix that will help improve your posture, your efficiency in sport and your awareness in daily life.
