One of the six components/blog categories of the Restore Your Body Programme is about how you use your body in Daily Life. This includes, house work, gardening, walking, but especially how you sit when at a computer.

This is a lifestyle programme and extended periods of inactivity are counter productive to your success. This week’s video is about how to sit well.

My aim with the Restore Your Body programme is simple:

No matter how much you exercise and how well you eat, if the majority of your life is sedentary, you will soon experience:

  • Postural muscle imbalance
  • Restricted breath
  • Low toned muscles
  • Compromised digestion
  • Reduced energy levels

You don’t have to change jobs, you just need to become more aware of your body when you do sit. It’s inevitable that there will be times in your day when you have to sit down in front of the computer.  I’m doing it right now as it write this…but I’m doing it well!
