The human body is amazing.  I want you to realise that your body is amazing too!  However, so many of us want our body’s to be something different…

slimmer, more flexible, better tone, stronger, less tension etc etc.

It’s ok to have aspirations and my job is to help client’s set and move towards realistic goals.  I want you to achieve and maintain your optimal fitness.   However, to achieve anything new, we first have to start where we are.  If we only focus on the goal, then our attention is solely focused in the future and that is where your results will stay, i.e. you won’t ever reach them.

It’s a bit like your car’s sat-nav.  You tell it were to go, but it can only take you there if it knows where you are to begin with.  Without a starting point it just doesn’t work.

Another problem with focusing too intently on a goal is that there is an underlying belief that you’re body is not good enough and therefore something needs to change.  Well, for change to occur, you need to start accepting and appreciating your body now.  Basically that means being ok with your current flexibility, strength, shape, etc.

Once you take that first step of body acceptance then you’ll begin to feel better immediately and then there’s no limit to what you can achieve.

In the video below I talk you through a simple meditative exercise that can bring your fitness goals much closer to reality.

Please watch and do the practice for 4 days.

After day 4, I would love to hear about how you are relating to your body and your goal. Feel free to leave a comment below.

Take care

Thanks Danny
