Everybody knows that before you exercise you need to warm up. A good warm up appropriately prepares you for what’s to follow and reduces your risk of injury.

However, no matter how thorough your warm up, if your mind is elsewhere you still run the risk of over doing it.

In fact, the practice of awareness is helpful anytime you find yourself getting distracted from the here and now. e.g. when wrapped up in thought or emotions. At those times, just re-play this video to connect with your body and find immediate relaxation.
