How often do you wake up feeling stiff? We all do at some point. But then what?  We end up doing nothing other than complain about it…further compacting the stiffness.

It’s time to give your body a break.  Instead of having a whinge and sitting down to work or read the paper, why not spend 10 minutes connecting with and nurturing your body?

Gentle movement when lying down is a great way to free up your spine, hips, shoulders, pelvis and neck.

Below is a short video that is gentle enough that you can even start your day with an exercise routine in bed!  Obviously if your bed is soft you’ll need to roll onto a mat first.

It’s also a great warm up before embarking on a home routine of yoga or Pilates or even something more dynamic.
